After a few days of resting up from celebrating Christmas in South Dakota, we went and celebrated a late Christmas in Iowa with mommy's family. It was beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here.  We had some snow for about a week, but now it is all gone.  That's OK though, I was able to take advantage of the snow and sunny weather and do some sledding with dad. The snow didn't last very long, but neither did my interest in sledding.  Going down the hill is fun, but daddy is just too slow when he has to carry me back up the hill.

Ever since I came back from Denver, I've really started to become a big girl. Last week was Halloween.  Last year I really didn't know what to think about Halloween, but this year I was ready.  We had a party at work and a harvest festival at church so I was all practiced up on how to get candy. Happy Birthday to Me!!!! I've had a really busy last couple of days.  On Thursday, me and mommy went to the zoo with Melissa and baby Emmit.  We had such a good time there. Emmit and I both really like the aquarium.After the zoo we came home and played toys. The zoo has so many cool animals, but the best was yet to come.  Mathew brought over his doggies! This morning I went to the hospital to have tubes put in my ears.  We had to be at the hospital by 6:15 to get checked in and to make sure I was up for the procedure.Once we were checked in, I had few a minutes to go play in the play room.  There were some other little kids there too, I hope they are feeling better now.Pretty soon, the nurse came and got me and it was off to get my tubes put in.

This week I had to go see Dr. Moore for my physical before I go get those tubes put into my ears.  Everything checked out, so it should be a go for Wednesday.  When they weighed me, I tipped the scales at 20 lbs 3 oz.  Now me and daddy have gained the same amount of weight since I was born :) Remember how last week I said I could climb up the stairs?  Well, maybe I'm not quite ready for that yet

I was really on the go this past Memorial Day weekend.  We went up to South Dakota and I was on the go nonstop. Saturday morning, it was time to get out the wagon and go for a ride. I went to see the Dr. this week about getting tubes put in my ears so that I don't get so many infections.  From what I've been told, I think it's going to happen this June. Today is my 7th month birthday!! In honor of my birthday, at work today is "pajama day". If you look really close in the picture above, you can see one of my teeth. We had a pretty good weekend.  Saturday we picked up a pack-and-play from mommy's friend Faye.  With that in the car, we'll be able to stop and sleep where ever the open road may take us. I'm over my cold now, thankfully and I'm doing a better job at sleeping through the night.  I still have to check and make sure that mommy and daddy can hear me every now and then, but they don't seem to mind.

Hello everyone. I've had a busy couple of days here. Sunday was Valentine's day, soooo much fun. Thanks for all the cards Grandmas! Daddy got me a toy kitten to play with, it meows!! He figured that since my real kitty won't come near me, he better get me one that I can play with. Look at what I can do now, well sometimes. I just started sitting up on my own, though only for a few seconds.

Hello everybody.  How's everyone doing? Me and daddy watched the big game on Sunday, it was my first Super Bowl.  I sure didn't think the Saints would pull it off.  I really liked watching the commercials, especially the ones with the babies in them. Hi everybody. Yesterday I had my 4 month check-up with Dr. Moore.  Everything turned out just great and I only cried for a little bit when I got my shots.  Dr. Moore said that in a few weeks, I can start to eat some real food!!  I'm voting for pizza. I weighed in at 15 lbs 2.5 oz, which puts me at the 77th percentile for my age.  The shocker was that my height, 26.75" puts me at the 99th

The other day when mommy and I came home from work, there was a package waiting for me on the steps.  I love it when I get mail!!  Aunt Kathy and cousin Kayla did some shopping and found some things for me that they knew I just couldn't live without. This week I finished my first week of work, a.k.a. daycare.  It was a learning experience for everyone.  My sleep schedule is a little messed up now, I'll have to start to get use to taking naps when other kids are playing around me.  Everyone there is very nice and it's so close to where mommy works that she can stop by and visit.
