I'm Now a Traveler

This morning we left Omaha and headed up to see my family in South Dakota.  It is my first out of state trip!  I handled the drive pretty well, though I was glad to get out of that car seat.  Daddy's friend Paul came up with us so that they could go hunting in the afternoon.  I napped while they hunted -you could argue who had a more productive afternoon :)

I finally got to meet cousin John and Uncle Bret tonight.  Here is a picture of my and my South Dakota cousins -minus Connor.

What a Day

I hope you're sitting down, 'cause I've got a lot to report on today.  I slept in most of the morning, good thing too because we were on the go after that.  We went to Mommy and Me class this afternoon.  All of us kids wore our Halloween outfits.  I must have made quite the impression on the boy in the moose outfit, he couldn't take his eyes off of me!!

Next we went to the hospital -don't worry, it was just to see some of mommy's friends from work.

When we got home from class, there was a great big box waiting for me -it was full of gifts from grandma Mary.  She made me the cutest pumpkin costume for Halloween. Grandma's friends Karen and Shelly teamed up to make me this beautiful quilt.  Shelly also made me a cool stuffed yellow elephant.  Thank you guys so much!!

Double Digits

Today me and mommy went to see a nurse about my upset tummy.  She gave us some good ideas on things to try, hopefully they work out.  She also weighed me - I'm 10 lbs 4 oz now!!  Can you believe  it??

Guess what I did the other night -I slept from 12:30 until 5:30.  Mommy and daddy were so glad -though I couldn't really tell if they were happy for me or for themselves....

When daddy got home from work tonight, we went for a walk around the neighborhood.  It was nice to spend sometime outside.

Busy Sunday

Man, did we do a lot of stuff today!  This morning we went to church, went to get daddy a hair-cut, stopped at the hardware store (I'd tell you which one, but our endorsement deal hasn't be finalized yet), then I watched daddy put up some shelves in the garage.  That's a funny story, we were all in the house and heard this crashing sound from the garage.  The old shelf fell off of the wall and spilled stuff everywhere.  It's a funny story 'cause none of the stuff that fell was mine :)

Saturday

Mommy's friend Tina came over to visit us today. Mommy says that she spoiled me with too many presents, I don't know if I'd go that far... We hung out this afternoon, grabbed some lunch and went to the store to pick-up a few things. Thanks so much for coming to see us Tina, mommy and I really appreciated it.

One Month

Four Weeks for Me!

Four weeks and mommy and daddy are still speaking to each other!!  I had my doubts there for a while, but they seem to make a pretty good team and they're keeping me safe and sound.

Tonight, mommy's friend Kat and her boy Grant came by for a quick visit.  Kat brought presents for all of us -food for mommy and daddy and cloths and books for me!!

My latest craze is my new pacifier that mommy and Melissa found me.  As you can see by mommy's smile, it makes all of us happy.

Today we went to Mommy and Me class.  I'm looking forward to next week's class, we're having a Halloween Party -my first!

Hi everybody! Sorry that it's been a few days since my last update, but we've been pretty busy here. Me, Mommy & Melissa have been having a lot of fun. We did some shopping, hung out -you know, girl stuff.

Melissa had to go home this morning. It was really fun to have her around.
Mommy and I went to the Dr. for a quick check-up today. He was really happy with how big I'm getting. I got some drops to help settle my tummy, let's keep our fingers crossed that these work (OK, I can't cross my fingers yet, it's just an expression)

Sleepy Saturday

After a couple of "all nighters", my little body caught up with me today and I slept away most of the day. Mommy, Melissa and me did do a little shopping today though, then we came home and I took a little nap.

Melissa's mom and dad stopped by for a visit while they in Omaha so I got to meet them.

My tummy feels a lot better today, thankfully.

Long Day

Today was a pretty long day for me and mommy. My tummy is upset and I'm not happy about it.

Mommy and Daddy's from Sara sent me a birthday gift!! Lots of cool bath toys, a hat, some cups... thanks so much Sara.

Happy 3 Weeks Old to Me!!

Three weeks, man time really flies when you're having fun. As I look back on these bask 21 days, it's so fun to meet everyone that I was only able to hear about before. So many friends and relatives already, with only more to come.

Today mommy and I went to class again today. My wish came true (though I don't think it was mommy's wish) I didn't sleep at all during the class. I let everyone know that I was there, just in case they take attendance.

Today I made my first trip to Wal-Mart , or as uncle Brian calls it "the eighth wonder". Not impressed, and I let everyone there know it. However, I seemed to be rather popular with the Wednesday afternoon shopping crowd.

Tomorrow mommy's friend Melissa is coming all the way from Denver to see me. We're going to hangout all weekend together. It will be a "girls weekend", my first!!

What's Up?

Hey everybody, what's going on?  Sorry that it's been a few days since an update, but I've been pretty busy here -you know, crying, swinging and stuff.  Mommy and daddy always seem to want to go to sleep when in gets dark out and that's right when I'm getting ready to go!







Mommy and I went to class again on Monday.  I don't really know what they talked about, I slept through most of it again -maybe we should go to the advanced class next week so that it holds my attention.

Mommy and daddy's friend Frank came by for a visit today.  We really hit it off.  Maybe Frank can babysit me when mommy and daddy have to go somewhere......

A House Full of Nurses

We had a house full of nurses this afternoon, but don't worry everyone here is fine and healthy. My "Aunts" from mommy's nursing club came by to check me out. They just adored me :) They brought me some very pretty pink roses to match my middle name. I also got a new shirt and some zucchini bread -though mommy and daddy won't let me have any.

Aunt Kathy, uncle Brian and my cousins stopped by on their way back to Watertown. It was so nice of them to come and visit. I can't wait until Halloween so that I can seem them again.

More Family

 
Today I got to meet Uncle Brian and cousins Connor and Adam.  I had heard a lot about them before, but hadn’t had a chance to meet up with them.  They came down to Omaha after cousin Kayla’s cross-country meet –I hope she wore her snow shoes!!


Mommy thought I needed to get cleaned up before the visit so she gave me a bath in the tub.  To everyone’s surprise, I really enjoyed it!  If there is a better way to spend a cold Saturday afternoon than in the tub, I’ve never experienced it.

Clean Bill of Health

Yesterday mommy and I went to see Dr. Moore.  He said everything is looking good and I don't have to go back for a month!

Wow, did you guys see all of that snow out there this morning?  I don't think I've ever seen that much -well, I guess I've never seen any before...  Mommy says that I'm too little to go sledding, maybe next year.

Aunt Kathy and Uncle Brian are coming down this afternoon.  I'll finally get to meet cousins Connor and Adam today, I've been looking forward to that for weeks.

Two Weeks Down

It's been two weeks since I made my appearance, where has the time gone....  I've met so many new people, I can't wait to see what happens in the next couple of weeks.

Today, I went to Mommy and Me class with mommy.  It was boring, I slept right through it.  That nap has given me plenty of energy for tonight -I've kept mommy and daddy running with all of my fussing.  Not much new tonight.

day 13

AHHHH what a day!

I clocked some serious swing time today.  I love the added music feature it's very relaxing after a stressful day.  Today was a lazy Tuesday.  The weather outside was cold so we decided to stay in and take it easy.  My mommy however thought that I really needed a bath.  I protested, but she won this round.  Thank goodness Daddy comes home to save the day and hold me.

How about those Twins???!!!  to be honest Mom and I missed a few of the middle innings but we were wake for the big finish.  Can't wait to see what happens tomorrow with the Yankees.

Tomorrow Mommy has informed me we are going to go to "Mommy and Me" class......this should be entertaining.....so stay tuned

My Super Power

Mommy and I had a pretty full day –I slept and she fed me.  When daddy got home, we went to Target to get me some new diapers.  Who wants to be in Target during the Vikings-Packers football game a.k.a “Favrageddon”??? so I cried some more.  That’s when I discovered my super power over daddy.  He sat me in one of the display swings and I stopped crying –guess what we brought home!!!
