Thanks for all the Votes

Thanks everyone for helping me decide what picture to use in the photo contest.  It was a lot of fun to watch the voting and to hear all of the fun comments about which picture to use.  The "Hearts and Smiles" picture was the winner -though I think they're all winners :)

This weekend Grandma Judy and Grandpa Terry came down for a visit. Friday, I didn't go to work but stayed home and played with grandma and grandpa, we had such a good time. Cousin Kayla sent me down some new shoes! They're a little big right now, but I can't wait until they feet my little feet.

Saturday, mommy, grandma and I went to the Cathedral Flower Festival at the St. Cecilla Cathedral.  There were so many beautiful flowers there, we had a really good time.

After the flower show, we met up with grandpa and daddy for lunch.  When daddy wasn't looking, grandma gave me a drink of her pop!  I don't quite have the straw figured out yet.

Thanks so much for coming down grandma & grandpa!  We always enjoy your visits and I can't wait to see you again.

Tomorrow is a big day at our house, it's mommy's birthday and my four month check-up.  Dr. Moore will tell me how big I'm getting and will also let us know if I can start to mix-up my diet.

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

Today is my daddy's birthday!!!  Yesterday was my 4 month birthday and daddy says that he is 151 times older than me -whatever that means.  All I know is that he got cake and I got formula.  Doesn't quite seem fair now does it.

This year mommy gave daddy some new workout gear.  Last year mommy gave daddy a bigger surprise....he found out I was coming.  Is there a better gift than that???

I'm feeling a lot better now, I think I'm over my cold.  Mommy is over her cold too, but daddy still has his.  "Daddy, I think you need to go blow your nose."

Friday after work, mommy and I went to a party with her work friends.  It was so much fun, I was a big hit.  I got to meet some other baby girls there who are about my age.  Thanks for inviting us girls, we had a blast.

The Gift that Keeps on Giving

Remember that cold that I told you guys about?  Well, I gave it to mommy and daddy.  Now I'm starting to feel better and mommy and daddy are under the weather.

I didn't eat very well when I was sick -kind of hard to drink through a bottle and you can't breath through your nose, but my appetite is starting to come back now.

Now that I can hold my head up so well, I just love to be on my feet -though I do need some help from the bouncy seat.

My First Cold

It turns out that what mommy and daddy were right (don't tell them I said that), I did come down with a cold.  I've been coughing and sneezing all weekend.  Needless to say neither me or mommy are getting much sleep because of it.

Uncle Dave bought a web-cam this weekend, so me and Hudson talked for a bit this afternoon.  We had a lot of catching up to do.  He's two months old now.....I remember when I was a little kid like him, those were the days.

I also chatted with the DeJongs.  They were all excited that the Vikings won today.  Cousin John took them snowmobiling this afternoon -hey John, we have snow down here too and I want to go for a ride!!

You've Got Mail

The other day when mommy and I came home from work, there was a package waiting for me on the steps.  I love it when I get mail!!  Aunt Kathy and cousin Kayla did some shopping and found some things for me that they knew I just couldn't live without.

Inside were lots of presents!!  A book, some pajamas -which I really love and my very first pair of shoes!  Thank you so much guys.  The shoes may have to wait a bit, but mommy and daddy have already ready me the book several times.


The PJs are awesome with little hearts on them just in time for Valentine's Day!  They make me so happy.  Thanks again :)

We're going to have a pretty slow weekend this weekend.  Mommy and daddy are talking about cleaning up the house -they talk about that a lot but acting on that is another story.  Me, I think I'll just hangout and maybe watch the kitty.  The past week or so, I have become really observant of things around me, and I just love to watch that wild cat.

This morning mommy and daddy were thinking that I had a little cold.  I was doing a lot of coughing and sounded a little congested.  I feel a lot better now though.

Hightech Baby

Hey there everyone. I hope that everyone is doing great.  I'm doing pretty good here -I've sleep through the night a couple times lately and I've started to have another bottle during the day. Daycare, I mean work, is going really well.

For Christmas, Aunt Karen gave daddy and Grandpa Terry web cams. It's soooo cool, I can talk to and see my distant friends and relatives!

Nothing to exciting going on with us this week, so I did a little dance to entertain everyone one. Look out Rockettes, here I come!!!
