We hadn't seen grandma Judy since her birthday, so I delivered her the present that I picked out for her. It's a pretty butterfly for her garden that lights up when it's dark out.
Normally I wouldn't get a chance to see anything when it's dark out 'cause it's past my bedtime. Not this weekend though, I was a night owl!
Checkout my Halloween pumpkin with grandpa Terry. It looks like it's going to be an excellent crop.
Friday was a pretty busy day for me. We started off with a wagon ride down to see grandma's friend Peggy. Peggy, grandma is always up for a cup of your coffee and I'm always up for your cookies and toys.
When we got back from our ride, it was time to help grandma in the garden.
"This tomato looks good grandma."
After working in the garden, Kayla, Adam and aunt Kathy stopped by.
Adam gave me some early birthday presents -stories and a Clifford the big red dog stuffed animal!! I've been reading these stories every night and Clifford even sleeps with me now. Thanks so much guys!
In appreciation of the gifts, I gave Adam a wagon ride!
A pretty busy day so far, but we were far from done! Next, we went over to see aunt Karen and their farm. We went to see the horses. I wasn't sure about Snickers at first.....
...but I warmed up to him pretty quick.Next, some tractor time with Liz.
Karen's puppy Pete stopped by to say "hello".
Me and Liz checking out John's calves.
I might live in the big city, but I'm a farm girl at heart.
Saturday we stopped for lunch at the restaurant that Kayla works out.
Then back at grandma's, playing the Wii with Adam. I let him win.
Saturday night we went to see Connor play some football! I hadn't been to a football game in a while, that was really fun.
Quite a fun and busy trip. On Sunday, it was time to head back home.
Showing Clifford the view from me car seat.
Thanks to everyone for such a great weekend!
