Hello Everyone

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is doing great.

As usual, I've been a pretty busy "big girl" lately.  The other day, I helped mommy make cookies.  First you mix all the ingredients and then you bake them.
Next, you put frosting on them.
Mommy even let me put sprinkles on them, though that may have been a mistake :)
It was a good thing we made cookies, 'cause I had a new friend show up and I had to be a good hostess and offer him a snack.
His name is Jimmy the Ghost.  He loved the cookies.

A couple of days after Jimmy showed up, papa, grandma Judy and cousin Adam showed up too!
Me and Adam catching up on the couch.
Adam gave me a stuffed kitty that he won.  Thanks so much Adam.  I named him Cowboy Kitty.  Isn't it the best papa?
Do you like my "ponies" grandma?
Thanks so much for coming down and visiting guys, I had a great weekend.

I don't have it perfected yet, but I've been using the big girl potty at home.  Sometimes I'm too late, but I make it to the bathroom in time sometimes.  I'll get it figured out one of these days.

Halloween is just around the corner.  The other day, I was trying on mommy's costume.  What do you think?
You'll have to check out my next posting to see everything that we did for halloween.

This morning, daddy ran a half marathon.  I have no idea what a half marathon is, I just know that daddy was really glad to be done.  Good job dad, now put me down, you're all sweaty!

That's all for now,
Kaitlyn

Pumpkin Patches

Last weekend uncle Dave, aunt Angie & cousins Jordan & Hudson came over for a visit.  We had a great weekend.  We played in the sandbox,

we went for a walk,

and then we celebrated my birthday.  I can get use to having this many birthday parties!
Frank came up too and we opened presents.

"Cough please monkey."

Thanks for the gifts everyone.  I love my toy medical set and vegetables (they get a lot of use in my kitchen).

On Sunday, we went to a pumpkin patch.  I had never been to a pumpkin patch before, so I was sure what to expect.
At the pumpkin patch, they had slides
 a giant jumping....thing
 duck races
 corn to play in
race cars (more to come about these)
tractor rides
a silly talking dragon
 and of course pumpkins!

What a great day we had at the pumpkin patch!  Thanks for coming with us guys.

Mommy has been trying to get me to eat better, but I think daddy needs to read the chapter on healthy foods again.  He brought me home an apple, a candied apple!  Nice try daddy.
With our "healthy" apple and a sugar buzz, daddy and I were ready to play.

This past Saturday, mommy and I had to go out and do some shopping.  Guess what I found in the store (at my eye-level oddly enough), but one of those race cars just like at the pumpkin patch!  I grabbed it was racing down the aisles of the store before mommy knew what to do.  I made it clear to mommy that we weren't leaving the store without it.  Some may say I'm spoiled, but I like to think that I just know what I want :)

This weekend, I found another pumpkin patch that is right down the road from our house.  Mommy and daddy drive down this road all of the time, I can't believe they never noticed it before.  Good thing I pointed it out to them.  This pumpkin patch had barnyard animals to feed.
And silly cutouts to take your picture in.
There were also tractors there for when it was time to get to work.

We went for a hayride too, I was so excited!
Then it was on to the real task at hand, finding me the perfect pumpkin.

Here it is, and it's just my size too.
When it was time to go home, I wasn't quite ready.
When we got home, daddy put me right to work cleaning up the backyard.
Whew, what a busy couple of weekends.  It's bath time for this little girl.

Thanks for stopping by,

Kaitlyn
