My First Week

I'm one week old now, wow, where has the time gone.....

Today was a pretty tough day.  I had to go back to the Dr. 'cause one of my tear ducts is plugged up.  I slept right through the visit, thankfully.  Mommy got some drops to put in my eyes, hopefully that helps.

I slept most of the day, so tonight could be a long night.

Tuesday Report

Today was another great day. Daddy's boss told him to go home and see his new little girl, so for once he followed orders and came home to see me. It was great!!! He helped mommy give me a bath, changed my cloths and then we hung out on the couch. What a life!!

After that, mommy and grandma Judy took me to the mall. I can't really say that I enjoyed it that much. I did meet some nice ladies there though who thought I was just precious, who am I to argue with them :)  They must have met me before I let the rest of the mall know that I was ready to come home.

For supper, everyone else had a pizza that looked yummy, do I have to tell you what I had....

The news is coming on, so I'd better let you go.

A Day of Firsts

Today was full of firsts for me. At noon, Mommy and Grandma Judy took me to my first appointment with the Dr. Moore. As you can see, I wasn’t thrilled about going. Everything turned out alright, they told me I gained 3 ounces –I need to get to the gym!! Another first was our trip to Hy-Vee. They may have a friendly smile in every aisle, but none are as cute as mine :) Daddy gave me my first bottle tonight, that was an experience for both of us!

Lazy Sunday

Today was my first chance all season to watch the Vikings. Luckily #4 led us to a victory.

Cousin Kayla and I spent some girl time together, it was nice to catch up with her. I think she likes me, 'cause she didn't even try to read or get on Facebook when she was holding me!!

Grandpa Terry, Aunt Kathy and Kayla left for South Dakota this afternoon, I hated to see them go. I got lots of phone calls today -Grandma Mary, Uncle Dave & Aunt Angie, Aunt Karen -I'm going to have to up my minutes!! :) It was good to talk to everyone, I can't wait until I get to meet them.

Mom and dad tried to talk me for a walk in the fancy stroller today, I didn't really care for that so much. I talked them in to taking me home to Grandma Judy.

It was a pretty good day. My calendar is starting to fill up, tomorrow I have an appointment with the Doctor.

Meeting More Family

Hello everybody. Another great day in the world for me, I met some more of my family today.

Aunt Kathy and cousin Kayla came down from Watertown to see me. Kayla made me a blanket and Aunt Kathy brought me some really cute cloths, thank you so much.


The ladies from church stopped by and put a sign in our yard to let everyone know I've arrived. I was sleeping at the time, so I didn't get to say thank you myself. They brought me some gifts too, I can get use to all of this attention!!

Look at this cool diaper cake that Aunt Angie made for me. What a clever idea, I sure couldn't have thought of something this cool. Mommy says at the rate I'm going, we're going to need another cake!!

My first night at home

My first night at home. What a night!! I had mommy up every couple of hours, I hope she can get some sleep today. It turns out that I'm an early riser.

Me and grandpa are watching TV now. We're taking a break before the ladies from church stop by.

I'm Home!!!

I finally got to leave the hospital this afternoon. Everybody there was so nice, I almost hated to leave, almost.

Today, daddy took me for my very first car ride. Seriously dad, use the right pedal. That's OK though, he got me home safe and sound.

So this is my new place. 3 days, 3 different places to live, I hope this is it for a while. I met the kitty, she didn't think much of me and ran away -more attention for me!!



Grandma Judy and Grandpa Terry came down to visit. I liked them right away.

My First Day

It's been 24 hours now since I've been here, what a day! Mom's friends from work stopped by, now I can finally put a face with those voices. I had some shots, got some pretty flowers from cousins back in South Dakota and also from the girls mommy works with, a teddy bear from Faye and a new output from mom.

Tonight I have a hearing test -I didn't even study!!

What a day!!

Tomorrow, if all goes well, I might get to go home -I can't wait to see the place.

Thanks for all the phone calls and txts -maybe I should get a twitter account???

Hi, it's me!!!

Hello world, I've arrived!!!

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm Kaitlyn Rose Kos, but everyone just calls me "the cutest little thing ever".

I was born Wednesday September 23, 2009 at 9:09 PM. I'm not even a day old yet, and I've already moved twice!! I started out on the 9th floor, but moved down to the 8th floor.

This is my mom, Beth. She did a great job caring for me the past 9 months.

Here is my dad, I'm not sure if he knows what he's doing yet. He trys though, that's all I can ask ;)
