Fun Weekend

On Saturday I went on my first trip to a museum, so many things to look at.  Our friend Frank met us there, we had lots of fun.

Sunday daddy and I had to catch up on our sleep, so we took a power nap after church.

Once I was all rested up, it was time to look at the ads to see if there were any good deals!

My tooth is finally visible!  It came through a week or so ago, but I've been holding off mentioning it until we could get a good picture of it.  We haven't had any luck with the pictures, but stay tuned, I'm sure there will be one shortly.

Growing Like a Weed.

Hi everybody.  Yesterday I turned 6 months old!

Here I am at work (aka daycare) playing on the floor.  I'm such a mover and a shaker now, I can roll and wiggle myself all the way across the room!

Today I went in for my 6 month check-up and everything looks just fine.  I had four shots today, but I only cried for a little bit.  I'm now 27.25 inches long and I weight 17 lbs 2 oz -that's 69.2 cm & 7.68 kg for my European fans :)  27 inches may not sound like much, but it's in the 93rd percentile.

I Count!

Happy birthday Liz!  Hope you had a great day.  Tomorrow will be my 6-month birthday, I'm getting to be such a big girl.

I had no idea how much paperwork was involved with being a little kid.  Last week I had to help daddy with his taxes.  He calls me his little exemption now, whatever that means.  Yesterday there was more work to do, I had to fill out my first census form.  Now I really count!

It's starting to feel like spring now.  Me and mommy & daddy went for a walk after work.  It was so nice to get back outside after that cold winter -the coldest winter I've ever experienced!

The eating real food thing isn't going so well for me now.  After such a good start, I got sick and can't really stomach solid food.  I'm going to ask Dr. Moore about it when I go in for my 6 month check-up later this week.

New Menu Options

Mommy came back from her trip on Sunday night.  I was soooo happy to see her.  She said she had a fun time, but that she couldn't wait until she could see me again.

Tonight I took a big step on becoming a big girl.  I had sweet potatoes for supper, my first solid food!!  I don't really know if I ended up with more in my tummy or on my bib, but I didn't fuss when mommy and daddy fed me.

This is kind of fun, I can even do it by myself!

I like to kick back and relax when I eat big girl food.  I wonder how long they'll let me eat with my feet on the table :)

Taking Care of Daddy

This weekend mommy went on her first out of town trip without me.  We weren't sure if I could take care of daddy all by myself himself, so grandma Judy and grandpa Terry came down to help me take care of him.  We didn't have to make any trips to urgent care, so I think we did a good job.

Me, grandpa & grandma had to discuss our plans for the weekend.

We were going to do a little shopping, but first I had to get myself ready.  A girl can't go shopping if she isn't looking good!

I thought we were just going to go to the mall, but grandpa had bigger plans.  He picked up a new pick-up!

"This thing got a v-8 in it grandpa?"

Beep Beep!!  Watch out, here I come!

Only 15 and a half years before I get my license, so you'd better take care of this truck grandpa.

We had a really fun weekend, thanks for helping me out guys.  Oh-oh, daddy sounds like he's getting hungry, I'd better go.

Working 9 to 5

Hi everybody!

I am so close to having a tooth poking out..  You can't see it yet, but when I bite on daddy's finger he can sure feel it.  Another week and it should be here.

I've been working so hard lately at work, aka day care.  There is just so much going on, it's non-stop, nose to the grindstone, work work work.  Here are some pictures from work that show how busy we are!

Sorry that it's been almost a week since my last update, I've been so busy.  With work, napping, rolling over, being adorable....the days just seem to fly by!!

Aunt Kathy, uncle Brian and cousins, Kayla, Connor, and Adam are in town this weekend!  I'll give you one guess who was the center of attention on Friday night :)
