Baby Needs a New Pair of Shoes!

This week mommy thought it was time that I started wearing shoes.  At first, I wasn't sure what to think of them.

But after a few minutes of wearing them, I decided that I was more of a barefoot kind of a girl.

But with my shoes on, mommy and daddy said that I could play out of the deck, so I decided that I like wearing shoes after all.

"I love wearing shoes!"

After playing hard out on the deck, it was time to come in and have a snack with daddy and talk about our day.

Grandma Mary came for a visit this weekend.  We hit some yard sales, went to the mall and even had ice-cream!  A little girl can't beat a weekend like that.

Hello, I'm Kaitlyn Kos. I'm a walker.

Hi everybody.  I've had such a fun week trying to figure out this walking program.  I set a personal best this week, 12 steps.

I'm hoping that by my birthday party I have it mastered so that I can show off to everybody.

Becca came over this week and watched me while mommy and daddy went to a movie.  We had such a blast.  Mommy, you should go to the movies more often :)

Look what mommy and daddy found for me at a sale, my very own shopping cart!  I just love it.  I push it around the house all day.  It even makes noises when you push it -daddy was just thrilled when we learned that.

This week is Frank's birthday, so we invited him up for supper.  We grilled hamburgers.  I even got my very own -my first grilled burger.

"Where's the beef?"

I love birthdays, that means cake and ice-cream!  Thanks for coming up Frank.

Besides walking, I'm also starting to get into yoga.  I think this is the downward-dog position.

Really, I'm into this.  I do it all of the time.

It's either yoga or I'm trying to do a cartwheel!

Hello everyone and happy belated birthday to cousin John!  Sorry about not giving you a call on your birthday John, but you have no idea how busy I've been here lately.

I have to help take clothes out of the closet.

"Mommy, I found my towels."

Keep daddy from eating my treats.

"Daddy, I'll take that!"

Plus, I have to entertain mommy by playing peek-a-boo, which is OK because I love that game.

I've also been busy learning new tricks.  Check out what I can do, it's a 3 stepper.
1)  Pull out the step stool that mommy had hidden and drag it to the living room.

2)  Wiggle your way up onto the couch.

3)  Sit back and relax.  I see this trick coming in very handy!

I'm a Walker!!

Exciting news here this week, I took my first steps!!!  Me and mommy and daddy where playing in the basement and I took two good steps to daddy.  Since then, I've put together three steps a couple of times.  I'm still a much better crawler, but pretty soon I think I'll be running all over the house.

I'm also getting a new tooth!  That will make five.  No pictures yet of me walking or of the new tooth, we'll keep on working on them though.

It's watermelon time!  I picked this out at the store and it's delicious!

Grandma Judy, I really like those beets that you brought down for me.

They taste great, but can be a tad on the messy side.  That's OK though, I have people who clean up me and my clothes.

Visit From Grandma & Grandpa

This weekend Grandma Judy & Grandpa Terry came down to visit me.  They even volunteered to watch me on Friday, so I stayed home from "work".

They hadn't seen some of my newest tricks yet, so I had to show them off.  Like how I'm an expert stander.

And how I'm not afraid of the grass any more.

Friday was Grandma's birthday, so we had birthday cake!!!  Even if it isn't my birthday, I still love birthday cake.
